As I get older it becomes easier and easier to find happiness through my kids. Their smiles make me smile; their laughter makes me laugh. It is fun looking over pictures that show our enjoyment together. In addition to the tens of thousands of pictures, there are so so many great memories. It is always a joy to look at pictures and talk about the fun times we had – allowing us to have fun in the moment – and allowing us to imagine the fun yet to come. In a time when enjoyment is harder to experience, it is great to have my family to daily give me happiness.
Pictures are great to re-experience past feelings. The kids at the zoo was always fun because they were always happy.
Going to a festival or fair has many attractions, but a favorite treat is eating part of an elephant – a large sugary ear! Marenna, Dhyana, and I went to Oregon for a hot air balloon business reason and visited their local Tigard fair. There were many things of interest, but the elephant ear was a treat. It really was huge next to Marenna.
Having fun experiences with the kids is important, very important. In the moment it is important to pay close attention to take in all the important emotions, sights, sounds, smells … (well sometimes not smells). Pictures can show a lot, but being in the moment and fully participating can make the memory last longer and better. That way we can try to remember these events on our own, but when looking at pictures all those memories rush back. That is the most fun reason to work with photo editing software, but actually trying to make it look good is also fun. Here are some attempts to make some fun pictures.
